Pick Your Own Berries
Get ready for a berry-picking adventure and pick your own fresh strawberries, raspberries, blackberries, boysenberries, and blueberries at Good Planet.
With sustainably grown crops, you can feel good about picking and tasting some of Auckland’s freshest produce right from the source.
Simply choose the type of berries you’d like to pick (availability varies daily), pay your entry fee, and grab a pre-paid bucket. Your entry fee even covers all-you-can-eat while you’re picking, so taste to your heart’s content as you fill up your bucket.
Train Ride
Enjoy a fun train ride when you purchase PYO entry, around the beautiful berry farm. The train departs roughly every 20 minutes during peak season. Stop off at locations for picking strawberries, raspberries, blackberries and blueberries!
Adventure Park
Ready for some outdoor excitement? The Adventure Park at Good Planet has activities for the whole family to enjoy!
Here’s a quick look at what’s waiting for you:
Inflatable Obstacle Courses: Navigate through three unique inflatable courses—Strawberry Village, Minion Maze, and Obstacle Run—suitable for kids aged 1-16.
Zorb Race Track: Climb into a Zorb ball and race around the track, bouncing and rolling as you go!
Mega Slide: For the thrill-seeker tweens and teens, the massive 7-meter slide is not for the faint-hearted!
Inflatable Rock Wall & Bungy Tramps: For the kids aged 4-8 have fun climbing up the giant rock wall and bouncing on the bungy tramps!
Splash Park
Cool off and have a blast at Good Planet’s Splash Park! Perfect for kids up to 12 years old, the Splash Park includes three fun slides all landing in a shallow splash pool.
With multiple daily sessions available, it’s the ideal place for your little ones to splash, play, and have fun this summer. Don’t forget to book your session online for a guaranteed spot!
Real Fruit Ice Cream
Enjoy a delicious real fruit ice cream filled with goodness. Handmade to order using fresh berries and premium vanilla ice cream.
With strawberry ice cream, raspberry ice cream, blueberry ice cream, mixed berry ice cream and real fruit smoothies everyone in the family can find a flavour they like!
Good Planet Café
Visit Good Planet’s casual child-friendly Cafe with a delicious seasonal all day menu for breakfast, brunch or lunch and a dedicated kids menu. Enjoy cabinet food stocked up daily with baked goods, savouries and sweet treats. Their menu is entirely Halal. With a kids menu and highchairs it’s perfect for your little ones.
Birthday parties
Celebrate your child’s special day with an unforgettable birthday bash at Good Planet! Choose a birthday party package with a blend of outdoor adventure and berry-picking fun. Choose from BYO picnic spaces to a fully catered package leaving you free to enjoy the day.
Good Planet's opening hours
PYO berries, the Cafe, and Ice Cream Shop are from 9am to 5pm, 7 days a week. Last entry for PYO berries is 4pm daily.
The Adventure Park and Train Rides are open on weekends from 10am to 5pm.
Splash Park: Opens each in December each year for Summer and runs until April.
Note: Good Planet is open from October to April each year and shuts over the winter season (May to September).

When is the PYO strawberry season open at Good Planet?
Good Planet’s PYO strawberry season is from October to April. During peak season, PYO is open 7 days a week from 9am – 5pm, with the last PYO entry at 4pm.
What other berries can you pick at Good Planet?
You can pick Raspberries from November to April; Blackberries from November to January, Boysenberries from December to January and Blueberries from December to February.
Other Things to Know
No Bookings Required for Pick Your Own or the Adventure Park. Drop in any time that suits you, no bookings needed! Swing by after visiting the North West Shopping Centre or as a stop on your way to or from the beach for a day of fun.
Weather Dependent: Some activities are weather-dependent and may be impacted by high winds or rain. Check out Good Planet’s live updates before heading out.
Important Reminder: Socks are required for all inflatable activities, so bring a pair or purchase them at our ticket counter if you forget.

Good Planet is conveniently located at 340 Riverhead Road in Riverhead in the North West region of Auckland, making it an easy destination for families from across the city.
Ample free parking is available onsite, allowing for a hassle-free visit. Whether you’re popping by for a quick play session or planning a full day of berry picking and adventure, you’ll find plenty of parking spaces just a short walk from the Adventure Park entrance.
