Fun Arkles Bay playground for kids in Whangaparaoa
The neighbourhood playground in Ferry Road, Arkles Bay on the Whangaparaoa Peninsula has a large geodome climbing frame for the kids to test their climbing skills on. There is a basket swing, regular swing, small slide for little kids, a see-saw and spinning round-a-about for your family to enjoy.
The park is partially shaded on a hot day and there is a bench seat close to the park to watch the kids play if you don’t want to join in the fun.

There are no public toilets at the park, but you can find some nearby at Arkles Bay Beach.
Arkles Bay Playground is located in Ferry Road, opposite Hawaiian Parade in Arkles Bay in Whangaparaoa in Auckland, New Zealand.
Close to the playground is Arkles Bay Path which goes from the playground, past the pond with pukekos then to Arkles Bay Beach with stunning view of Rangitoto. The path is relatively flat until this point, but the next part goes up a steep bush track with lots of steps to Whangaparaoa Road.
Little Manly Beach is not far away and is a safe beach to swim at with the kids.
A short drive away is the Coast Plaza shopping mall in Stanmore Bay with some places to get a bite to eat. Or if you feel like a visit to a swimming pool and splashpad you can visit Stanmore Bay Pool and Leisure Centre.
