Other fun playgrounds, that are a short walk, bike ride or drive away include:
– Waterview Reserve (which is accessed off Herdman Street) and has a basketball court, BMX track and skatepark as well as a fun playground with water play. You can reach this on the Waterview Path that goes across the boardwalk path and then under the motorway to arrive at Waterview Reserve.
–  Walker Park and playground in Pt Chev which has large sports fields and a smaller playground
– Coyle Park at the end of Point Chevalier Road has a large fun children’s playground as a stunning view out to Rangitoto and the Harbour Bridge and a beach.
