Visit this fun local playground in Ulrich Reserve in Ranui for the kids to get active outside whilst having fun playing.  There are basket swing, toddler swing,  toddler slide, climbing wall and climbing frame and a monkey bar set in this beautiful green park in West Auckland.

Where is Ulrich Reserve Playground?

You can find the playground in Ulrich Esplanade Reserve, which can be accessed from Ulrich Drive in Ranui in West Auckland.

Ranui’s neighbouring west Auckland suburbs include: Henderson, Waitakere and Massey.

  • Discover Te Rangi Hiroa play space in Ranui for the older kids with a youth playground and basketball court.

  • Visit Starling Park in Ranui which has a playground, basketball court, skate park and sports fields to play on. Plus there is a path around the edge of the park which is perfect for little ones to ride their scooter rides or learn to ride on.

  • Play on the sports fields at Ranui Domain and there is an older style playground for younger kids. Older kids like trying out the adults outdoor exercise equipment that is around the park too.

  • Let the kids get active at Royal Reserve destination playground in Massey which has a fantastic playground, giant slides, climbing tower, sand pits,  bike track with road signs and markings for the kids, and basketball court and exercise equipment for older kids, teens and adults.

  • Enjoy a picnic and a walk around Paremuka Lakeside‘s two storm water ponds in Henderson.

  • Visit the cute neighbourhood playground Emerald Valley Park in Massey plus their is a path that goes around the park and through the small native bush area.

  • Take a walk around the  Henderson Loop Path which goes from Te Tai Park Playground and Skatepark and goes past the Trusts Stadium playground, then along Henderson Creek, past Sherwood Park and then back to where you started at Te Tai Park.

  • See Crystal Mountain‘s collection of crystals and minerals and animal park at the local family attraction in Swanson. (Note: entry fees apply to visit Crystal Mountain.)
