Snowplanet’s new Rip ‘n’ Ride Academy afterschool programme offer’s weekly sessions with the increased flexibility of five training days to choose from. That’s even more chances for your children to develop their skiing and snowboarding skills and have fun!

The Rip ‘n’ Ride Academy kids’ ski & snowboard program for kids aged 5 to 16 years old includes:

• A 90 minute group ski or snowboard coaching session with a Ski and Board School Instructors.

• Access to the snow for the 90 minute duration of their lesson.

• Full use of snow sports rental equipment, including skis/snowboard, boots and helmet for the duration of their 90 minute lesson (excludes rental clothing). Helmets are compulsory for all riders on snow.

This program is suitable for first timers all the way through to experienced riders and skiers. Your child can expect to learn to control their speed and how to turn in a fun, group environment. As they progress the instructors will teach them how to control their edges and how to execute different types of turn, including parallel (for skis) and carved turns. Other progressions will introduce them to the terrain park and how to navigate basic jumps and boxes.
