Bluestone Park which is also know by the locals  Kickaball Park is a small neighbourhood playground for families to enjoy in Stonefields next to Mt Wellington in Auckland. The park is more suited to younger and primary school aged kids.

Children can play on the monkey bars, the slide, springer animals (including a giant bumble bee), stepping stones and other play equipment. There is also a grass area next to the playground which is perfect for playing ball games with younger kids and also paths which are just steep enough to gather speed for scooters and little kids learning to ride their bike. The neighbourhood park has plenty of seats on around the park too.

Auckland for Kids tips:

  • Suitable for toddlers

  • Suitable for pre-schoolers

  • Suitable for primary school kids

  • No shade over the playground, so bring your sunscreen and a hat in summer.
